Apperley Bridge - Little Park and Woodhouse Grove School

Notes

Note

Shows the little cluster of houses on a quiet cul-de-sac, called Little Park, where Jack and Soula Carr lived with their children, Peter and Michael from about 1955 to about 1964. This is the group of houses to the south of the railway line and to the west of the north-south main road. To the east of the main road, the picture is dominated by the buildings and playing fields of Woodhouse Grove School, which Peter attended from 1960 to 1964 before relocating to Leeds Modern School. Peter and Michael played in the fields that can be seen between Little Park and the river (the River Aire).
