Joseph Carr died relatively young (47) and we do not know much about him as yet because he only appears in one census. This is the 1841 census which gives little information.

We have obtained his death certificate which records that he died of consumption in 1850 and was employed as a labourer. His death was reported by Mary (this may have been his wife, Mary Ann nee Dickinson though it could have been his mother, who was also called Mary).
